The end fed half wave is a multiband antenna whose feedpoint is at the end of the wire (a dipole would put feed at center). It requires a 49:1 transformer to impedence match. I built mine from scratch.
First attempt at the transformer -- the box was too small and the construction somewhat shoddy.
Second attempt -- smaller box and better designed.
Early photo using a fiberglass pole. I don't recommend them -- broke two of them and then switched to PVC pipe for a mast.
